I had many profound personal experiences with the paranormal from a very young age. Those experiences are the prime motivators for my becoming a Paranormal Investigator. I am determined to discover the answers to my long held questions, I have discovered some...but there are far more left to be answered.

I have 20 years in the technical and engineering field, I have have found that knowledge has benefited me greatly in the transition and application into this field. One of my main goals is to dissect these anomalies and gather substantive data from them, to obtain the best data for this I am always looking to develop methods which will enhance or extend interactive contact.

This field is a study and that is how I approach it, however I do not look at those on "the other side" as subjects, but rather partners of whom I am working with to obtain knowledge from directly and indirectly in a complete respectful manner. As a result I have founded "Synergy Paranormal" and am the director of "The Synergy Paranormal Institute" to refect this "partnership". It is a forensic study of these phenomena from which data I and my teammates have personally collected in the field. Control is paramount and therefore 2nd hand evidence cannot be applied, however I do study others findings to determine correlations and reference pertinent information of which may advance my practice and approach.

Although I have a scientific background I do believe in advanced perceptive awareness and abilities such as defined within Extra Sensory Perception, this applies to Psychic abilities and skills as well. These skills I have also practiced from a very early age, some with the assistance of my grandmother and mother who also are highly receptive, perceptive and aware.

My heritage is of Native American Indian and Italian, both cultures have influenced me growing up, but I have found that the Spiritual teachings and practices from my native side has connected me to this quest a great deal. For that reason I have chosen my user-name here to be "Shaman", as he is one acting as a medium between the visible and spirit worlds as I also wish to bridge science with spirituality here in my quests.

Although all of my forensic evaluations are conducted by only scientific methods, I do utilize the spiritual aspects for some forms of direct contact. My "feelings" are never used to influence evidence, however they are a tool whereby I adjust what procedures and equipment I use in a given situation.

I do appreciate learning and sharing with others in this field as we have much to offer one another in terms of experience and knowledge. Being that this field is based on theory and speculation there cannot be anyone qualified to be titled an "Expert", again there are just those with more knowledge and experience.

I also appreciate that there isn't one linear path whereby we are all required to follow, there are many avenues in the form of practices and methods which are equally good in obtaining quality results, creativity does have it's place in this field as with any other. Following in the paths of others is fine, but I prefer to create those of my own.
