Formal Biography for Ed Craft:

Ed Craft, "The Original Anomalist™," has battled his entire life with four forms of severe epileptic seizures but has never let it slow him down or stop him. He is the author of “UFOs the Dossier,” and of “Mysteries and Monsters”, which he co-authored with Lisa Carmody-Craft "The Deaf Anomalist."  Their groundbreaking work together has opened the door for many in the field with disabilies and made the public aware of the value of the very "abled" in the field of anomalous investigation and research.

He has received book acknowledgements by Doris "Dusty" Smith, author of, "Haunted Daytona Beach." His book reviews for others have appeared on the back cover of books for well known authors like Joseph Ferrell, the author of "Secrets of the Unified Field."

Ed served in the United States Army with a Secret Clearance as a volunteer soldier with the Headquarters United Nations Joint Security Force at the Joint Security Area, Camp Kitty Hawk on the 38th parallel at Pan Mun Jom, Korea. Headquarters 8th Army Engineering Battalion, Second Division, Korea. The Headquarters and Headquarters Battalion Ft. Devens, MA. The Headquarters 7th Special Forces Medical Support Battalion Ft. Devens, MA. He was awarded the Army Over Seas Service Ribbon and the Army Achievement Medal for his honorable service.

Ed had his first unusual encounter with a "bipedal hairy creature" as a young Boy Scout in South Florida which was featured in a book on “Encounters with the Strange and Unexplained” by internationally renowned Rolling Stone’s photographer Matt Hoyle. Since his initial encounter with the unknown, he has investigated strange unexplained lights in the night skies and researched government cover ups of the UFO phenomena.

He has interviewed countless UFO eyewitnesses, to include fellow researchers, Donald R. Schmitt one of the most reknown Roswell UFO investigators, and  Stanton T. Friedman, who is one of the world's leading UFO researchers & was on of the original recipients  and investigators of the MJ-12 documents.   He has also spoken with and interviewed Dr. Jessie Marcel Jr. who is the son of Major Jessie Marcel and  a living eyewitness to the actual Roswell crash debris material in his own right. He has also interviewed the current head of the Church of Satan, Peter Gilmore and the Care Taker of the "Star Child Skull" Lloyd Pye.

Ed is also the only individual to have interviewed famed Amityville horror resident, George Lutz for his final two on air radio interviews. And, it was during his time as the former host of Magick Mind Radio that Ed had the opportunity to interview some of the most interesting & controversial minds of our times. Minds like those of author and Atlantis researcher Dr. Shirley Andrews, the original Flatwoods Monster Investigator Frank Fashino, and "Hollow Earth Theorist" Timothy G. Beckley. He has also taken on the the spiritual side by interviewing the likes of Famed Psychic John Holland & the Real Life "Ghost Whisperer" Mary Ann Wintowski.

Over the years Ed has been blessed with working with Co-Hosts like Author's Tamara Thorne and Doris "Dusty" Smith. He has interviewed New York Times Best Selling thriller author Steve Alten, Conspiracy author and researcher Brad Steiger, UFO researcher Richard Dolan, Cryptozoologist Dr. Jeff Meldrum, Egyptologist Dr. John Anthony West, as well as many more incredible minds in his years as both an Anomalist and "para"normal radio host.

He has been featured in the Miami Herald for his work investigating ghostly occurrences and has traveled to Mexico were he has stood on the Pyramid of the Sun at the ruins of Teotihuacán, visited the famed "Winchester Mystery House" & the Rosicrucian Egyptian Museum and its behind the scenes student library in Jan Jose, California, the U.S.S. Hornet in Alameda, California, & gained full access to Fort Point below the San Francisco Bridge.  Ed has also investigated Edward Leedskalnin's enigmatic Coral Castle in South Florida and search for the "Swamp Ape" in the wilds of the Florida swamps. He has gained access to Jack London's actual "Drooling Ward" and done both research and investigations in the famous & em famous, "Valley of the Moon." 

He has devoted his life to exploring many more phenomena of an unexplained nature and continues his original search for "The Real Truth."

In 2007 Ed was elected and inducted as a Fellow at the Pangea Institute for Science, Education & Conservation, making him the first amomalist to sit on the board.  He has been interviewed on numerous national and international radio talk shows, like Coast to Coast AM with George Noory and in both national and online magazines. He has consulted for the History Channel’s Hit Series Monster Quest and been interview by the SyFy Channel's Destination Truth Series host Josh Gates for his work in the field of Cryptozoology.

In spite of experiencing all these things, he still searches for evidence and answers. With over a quarter of a century & research in the field, Ed has taken a path of applied science, and an open mind to discover a “keeping it real” approach, to investigating the unexplained.
